Coronation Street resident Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) will collapse on the cobbles in an upcoming episode sparking fears from her family that the hairdresser’s health is deteriorating as her age increases.
Audrey’s relatives are worried after she collapses on the street in the New Year when she passes out, says the Daily Star. Audrey is rushed to hospital straight away sparking fears amongst friends and family but their worries are relayed when it’s revealed that it’s nothing serious.
Doctors reveal that Audrey has high blood pressure and she is ordered to give up alcohol immediately. Audrey has been at the centre of a storyline earlier this year which saw her fall in love with cross dresser Marc Selby (Andrew Hall) however their relationship quickly fell apart. Her ex-boyfriend and con artist Lewis Archer (Nigel Havers) is set to return next year.
